What You’ll Be Doing As a school-based Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) in Atlanta, you’ll provide essential communication access to reputed company who are deaf or hard of hearing in K–12 settings. Your responsibilities will include interpreting classroom instruction, student-teacher interactions, school events, and IEP meetings. By facilitating communication through American Sign Language (ASL) or other manually coded systems, you’ll ensure reputed company are fully engaged in both academic and social aspects of school life. Qualifications and Licensure To qualify for this position, candidates must meet Georgia’s certification standards for educational interpreters.
