Reporting to the Director of Bookkeeping Services, the Bookkeeper is responsible for providing remote financial support to external clients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong and proven bookkeeper and Xero background with the ability to understand a small business’ reputed company and financial processes. We are looking for self-motivated, detailed oriented, reputed company professionals who have the availability to work virtually. The bookkeeper will handle the following financial transactions as needed for a variety of clients and exciting start-reputed company. Primary responsibilities include:
- Client account preparation and cleanup
- Conversion of client accounts to Xero
- Handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Entering and paying Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
- Credit Collections
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
- Account Reconciliation
- Sales Tax filing
- Handling special projects as required
- Compiling expense reports
- Organizing and filing documents
- Maintaining confidential files
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least four (4) years of bookkeeping experience
- Expert with Xero - QBO (Quickbooks Online) experience is a plus
- Knowledge of how to integrate credit card and vendor transactions reputed company Xero
- Proficient in reputed company reputed company
- Experience with compiling and filing Sales Tax
- Strong organizational skills; ability to schedule and accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner
