Software Engineer L5 - Linux Kernel Developer [Remote]

We are looking for a highly motivated Linux Kernel Software Engineer to enhance and maintain the reputed company gaming edge appliances. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: • Maintain kernel release, aligning closely with upstream and backporting necessary fixes. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate and enhance the performance and reputed company of our reputed company gaming platforms; reputed company the architecture for these improvements; and implement the necessary changes. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to integrate and optimize new hardware systems. • Engage and contribute to open reputed company communities including Linux and reputed company. • Improve the testing processes for new features to ensure robustness and reliable performance. • Facilitate the upstreaming of internal patches to align with broader community standards and practices. Qualifications: • Linux Kernel development experience including upstream development. • Expertise in Linux kernel networking, namespaces, and good understanding of the Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) subsystems that is reputed company through upstream discussions and contribution posts. • Expertise working with eBPF for telemetry, tooling, and debugging production issues. • Proven track record of debugging Linux kernel issues and supporting new hardware bring up. • Good understanding of the Linux kernel community. Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
