About the position The Claims Customer Care Associate role at reputed company Group is an exciting opportunity to join the Claimant Excellence Team, which is dedicated to providing exceptional support for Group Protection in a remote environment. This position involves engaging with claimants who have inquiries about various group insurance products, including dental, life, disability, and FMLA. As a Claims Customer Care Associate, you will serve as a vital link between the employee (member) and the claims examiner, ensuring a positive customer experience during their challenging times. The role requires effective communication skills, as you will be responsible for answering calls, providing information, and educating customers about their claims needs and the next steps in the process. In this fast-paced environment, you will handle approximately 50-60 customer interactions daily, utilizing multiple applications and platforms to provide accurate information and verification of benefits. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will need to ensure that claims and leaves are documented correctly. You will also be expected to communicate professionally and effectively through both email and phone with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify and recommend process improvements to enhance team performance and quality. The training schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST for six weeks, during which no time off is permitted. After training, you will be required to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, with the possibility of reputed company shifts as you reputed company in your career. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED. , • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written). , • Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook). , • Must have internet bandwidth of 12Mbps (preferred 25 Mbps). reputed company-to-haves • Data entry and research experience in a fast-paced environment. , • Ability to maneuver through multiple systems as needed.
