Human Resources & Staffing Expert – AI Systems Evaluator (Remote) Location: 100% Remote (Work on your own schedule) Compensation: Competitive (Starts on an effective hourly rate, transitioning to a throughput/quality-based model). Paid weekly via Stripe or Wise. Employment Type: Independent Contractor (Project-based with potential for ongoing engagement) The Role We are partnering with leading AI labs and research organizations to train and enhance frontier models using human expertise. We are seeking experienced Human Resources & Staffing Experts to help improve how AI systems understand and execute talent management, employment law, organizational development, and workforce operations. In this role, you will apply your deep industry expertise to evaluate and elevate AI performance on HR-specific tasks. You will not be sharing confidential or proprietary information from past employers or clients; rather, you will be leveraging your generalized HR frameworks and functional knowledge to shape the next generation of AI systems.

What You Will Do

  • Output Evaluation:

Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to job descriptions, compensation benchmarking, employee policy interpretation, and HR compliance guidance.

  • Scenario Creation:

Design highly realistic scenarios based on actual HR workflows, including requisition-to-hire processes, performance management cycles, benefits enrollment, employee investigations, and RIF/restructuring planning.

  • Data Annotation & Validation:

Annotate, label, and validate data across a wide range of HR use cases (e.g., offer letter generation, leave administration, workforce analytics, DEI program design).

  • Targeted Feedback:

Provide structured, rigorous feedback on AI accuracy regarding employment law (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, WARN Act), HRIS system workflows, and overall HR best practices.

  • Async Collaboration:

Work asynchronously with specialized research teams to continuously refine the evaluation frameworks used for HR-domain AI. What You Bring (Requirements)

  • Experience:

3+ years of professional experience in an HR or staffing function at a mid-to-large enterprise, staffing agency, or HR consulting firm.

  • Domain Expertise:

A strong background in one or more of the following areas:

  • Talent acquisition and recruiting (corporate or agency)
  • Compensation, benefits, and total rewards
  • Employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Learning & development or organizational development
  • HR operations and HRIS administration (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP)
  • Staffing and contingent workforce management
  • Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex HR workflows into structured AI evaluation tasks.

  • Communication:

Crystal-clear written communication and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Work Authorization:

  • Active HR certifications (

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP ) are highly preferred.
