Senior DevOps Engineer - Kafka & Cloud Integration

This is a remote position. Our client is a cutting-edge technology company focused on delivering high-impact solutions in cloud infrastructure and real-time data platforms. They are currently seeking a SeniorDevOps Engineer - Kafka & Cloud Integration with strong experience in AWS, Azure, Kafka, and Infrastructure as Code. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and maintaining scalable cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring performance, security, and reliability across a wide range of projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Deploy and operate Kafka clusters using AWS MSK and Confluent Cloud, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into daily workflows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS, including MSK, and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong practical knowledge of Apache Kafka, especially with Confluent Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications such as: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
