Senior AWS GovCloud DevOps Engineer

Remote role Full-time Open position

Job Summary: We are seeking Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Level 4) to:

Design, build, and deploy secure, scalable Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions in AWS GovCloud or other high-compliance cloud regions.
Use deep expertise in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Work independently and collaborate closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure compliant, production-ready environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize secure, high-performance VDI environments in regulated cloud regions.
Develop and maintain scalable IaC templates using Terraform (Pulumi experience is a plus).
Ensure cloud infrastructure reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with Security, IT, and Compliance teams to align architecture with organizational standards.
Document architecture, processes, and configurations for team knowledge and scalability.
Drive continuous improvements in deployments, monitoring, and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Senior-level experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering (Level 4).
Expertise in Terraform for managing cloud environments.
Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proven experience delivering secure, production-grade cloud systems.
bility to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud deployments.
Familiarity with Pulumi IaC frameworks.
Experience with VDI solutions in regulated sectors like government, defense, healthcare, or finance.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or DFARS.
Strong technical writing and communication abilities for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
