About the Role

Payroll analyst plays a critical role in administering and oversight for payroll processes serving as a vital link between employees and the business ensuring that employees are paid timely and accurately. This role involves in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and the capacity to work with payroll software systems, indicating a blend of technical expertise and regulatory comprehension This role will be part of our global payroll team providing support for up to 1,000 employees across EMEA Countries.As MiniMed expands and our business grows, we are looking to appoint a Payroll Analyst who will play a critical role in administering and oversight for payroll processes serving as a vital link between employees and the business ensuring that employees are paid timely and accurately. This role involves in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and the capacity to work with payroll software systems, indicating a blend of technical expertise and regulatory comprehension.This role will be part of our global payroll team providing support for up to 1,000 employees across EMEA Countries. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Payroll is responsible to ensure employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policy and government regulations. Analyzes, audits, reconciles, and resolves complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing. Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations. Researches and interprets regulatory requirements and resolves tax, withholding, and garnishment issues for payroll processing. Responds to auditing and regulatory inquiries. Creates standard operating procedures, responds to merger and acquisition activities. May ensure time systems are compliant with company policy and government regulations May respond to and resolve employee and client inquire May work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service provider. Functional Skills: Payroll Practices, Wage and Hour Laws/Compliance, Data Analysis, Knowledge Management. Additional Skills: Problem Solving, Detail Oriented, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Service, Process Improvement, Communication. Required Knowledge and Experience: 3+ years of payroll experience, specifically within the EMEA region. Deep understanding of EMEA payroll tax, statutory reporting, and benefits. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and keen into detail. Strong communicator with analytical and problem-solving skills. Good English communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and manipulation. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Additional desirable qualifications include proficiency with CloudPay or ADP payroll systems. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Accounting, Finance or Business.
