We are hiring 1099 Quality Assurance Reviewers/Examiners to join our growing company. The Claims Examiner will support the organization’s mission to provide superb service and attention to our clients’ most important assets, their customers. The Claims Examiner will ensure a quality product is delivered to our client in a timely and professional manner by working alongside our field services staff and quality assurance counterparts. This position is responsible for performing quality assurance file reviews, following specific client estimating guidelines, and ensuring all estimates and reports are technically accurate.

  • Maintain contact with field adjusters to ensure timely inspection and estimate/report submissions
  • Review adjuster reports and estimates to ensure accuracy, meet appropriate industry standards, and adhere to client guidelines
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and endorsements for appropriate application of coverage
  • Clear and concise file documentation
  • Ability to work with Xactimate/Xactanalysis and collaborate on estimates
  • Respond timely and appropriately to all communication
  • Monitor and maintain individual queues to ensure that files are being reviewed and closed timely
  • Understand and work within multiple client systems, programs and guidelines; Guidewire knowledge preferable
  • Assist with training adjusters on client specific requirements when necessary
  • Ability to meet and exceed cycle time and quality review metrics
  • All other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of related property claim handling experience.
  • Xactimate/Xactanalysis estimating platform experience
  • CoreLogic/Symbility experience a plus (Claims Connect and Mobile)
  • Decision making skills and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of claim lifecycle and attention to detail
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Proficient computer & typing skills - working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedure
