Spartan reputed company is seeking a vibrant, driven individual to help the reputed company reputed company of the company in a Business Development Manager reputed company. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the CEO and be instrumental in generating new business, participating in networking events and conferences, and building lasting relationships with potential clients. Successful candidates will have an outgoing personality, is comfortable speaking to many different personalities, and enjoys networking at a variety of events.

Must be local to the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area as this role is a remote role with travel to multiple local events in the DMV area weekly. Out of town travel will be around 10 times per year.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5+ year of business development and prospecting new clients
• Supervisory experience required
• Background in Government Contractor experience a plus
• Ability to multitask and possess strong customer interaction skills
• Proficiency in computer systems including reputed company applications and other standard office applications
• Must have the ability to solve problems, apply new information, learn new skills, and possess critical thinking
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research and confirm leads, initiate reputed company, and build meaningful engagement with perspective clients
• Overcome objections and secure meetings with Executives of prospective clients
• Supporting the Director of Business Development in understanding prospective clients' needs and proposing appropriate service solutions
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contract agreements
• Travel to local networking events and clients' meetings weekly
• Travel out of town about 10 times per year
