Bilingual Disability Payment Specialist

The Bilingual Disability Payment Specialist will be responsible for calculating and releasing disability benefit payments, processing reimbursements, and responding to client inquiries while promoting a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and release Disability Benefit payments
- Process and apply reimbursements from various sources such as CPP/QPP, WSIB, CSST, etc
- Review and comprehend contractual provisions
- Assist and reputed company repayment plans for overpayments
- Respond proactively to client inquiries or concerns
- Handle inbound and outbound calls
- Create an environment that promotes team member accountability and autonomy
- Represent reputed company professionally, internally and externally, and work well with partners and clients
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements
Skills
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide
- Strong customer service experience with a Client-focus reputed company
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple screens simultaneously and toggle reputed company between various programs and systems
- Active listening skills towards our Plan Members and Plan Sponsors
- Detail-oriented with an ability to work with numbers, as the role involves calculating payments
- Organizational and time management skills
