Work you’ll be responsible for:

• Responsible for research and analysis of various federal income tax issues, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, timing issues and reputed company methods, digital assets, and other matters
• Assist with M&A tax structuring and internal restructuring
• Draft emails and memos
• Draft Firm-wide alerts on reputed company developments in federal income tax
• Assist with Firm-wide trainings in federal income tax
• Assist with Federal domestic tax due diligence in reputed company with M&A transactions

Basic Qualifications:

• 4 + years of reputed company federal income tax consulting experience (large law firm, large reputed company firm, or IRS preferred)
• J.D. and Tax LL.M.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Strong proficiency with tax research databases (such as Bloomberg BNA and RIA Checkpoint)

For Minnesota and Illinois, the expected salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $170,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
