The Sylvan Learning Tutor is responsible for creating a positive personal learning experience for reputed company by teaching reputed company according to the design of the Sylvan programs. - Reading and Writing Program Teachers:
- Four-year degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of one or two years of teaching experience required

- Four-year degree or equivalent required
- Minimum or one or two years of tutoring experience in SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, or HSPT prep preferred
- Academic Coaching Program Teachers:
- Four-year degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one or two years of tutoring experience in subject areas such as History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Foreign Languages required
- Knowledge of study strategies for organization and time management, note-taking, test-taking, and goal-setting preferred
